Three Ways to Approach Investment Learning

Different people need different starting points. We designed three pathways based on where you are right now, not where you wish you were.

Financial charts and market data analysis workspace

Foundation Track

You're starting from scratch. Maybe you've never owned a share. This track covers basic terminology, how exchanges work, and what different asset classes actually mean. Takes about six months if you're putting in weekend hours.

Portfolio management and diversification strategy session

Portfolio Strategy Track

You already invest, but you're not confident about your approach. This focuses on diversification strategies, rebalancing methods, and understanding your own risk tolerance through practical exercises. Most people finish in eight to ten months.

Advanced technical analysis and market research tools

Market Analysis Track

You want to analyze companies and sectors yourself. We teach financial statement reading, competitive analysis, and pattern recognition. This is intensive and takes the full eighteen months to complete properly.

Finding Your Right Learning Path

Instead of making you guess which track fits, we built a simple framework. Answer these questions honestly, and you'll know where to start.

Do you currently hold any investments?

This includes shares, managed funds, ETFs, or anything traded on a market. Super doesn't count unless you actively manage it yourself.

Yes, I manage my own portfolio
No, I'm completely new to this

Can you explain what a P/E ratio tells you?

Not looking for textbook definitions. If someone asked you at a barbecue what it means when a company has a P/E of 25 versus 12, could you explain it in plain terms?

Yes, and I use it in decisions
I've heard of it but couldn't explain it

How much time can you commit weekly?

Be realistic here. Our foundation track needs about four hours weekly. Portfolio strategy needs six. Market analysis needs eight to ten, especially during assignment periods.

3-5 hours consistently
6+ hours when needed

What Students Actually Achieve

Darren Heathcote, program graduate and financial analyst

Course Completion Rates

73%

Most education programs see 40-50% completion. We designed ours with realistic timeframes and proper support, which is why nearly three-quarters of students finish what they start.

Average Study Duration

14 months

While we allow eighteen months, most students complete their chosen track in fourteen. That includes two months for the capstone project where you analyze a real portfolio scenario.

Post-Program Confidence Rating

8.3/10

We survey graduates six months after completion. This score reflects their confidence in making independent investment decisions without needing constant validation or advice.

Darren Heathcote, completed Market Analysis Track in 2024
I spent eight years making emotional investment decisions based on tips and headlines. This program taught me to analyze companies properly. Took me sixteen months to finish the Market Analysis track, but I actually understand what I'm buying now.
